Half way through November and a week until my Birthday and I realise I haven’t posted my October Empties! Time really does fly! So, before we reach the end of this month … let’s see what I used up in October!

La Roche Posay -Serozinc

This will have featured on the blog a few times in empties or skincare routine posts as I have used it for a while now. This hydrating mist is fantastic any time of year but more so in the summer as the addition of Zinc helps with oil control. My skin is nowhere near as oily as it used to be but I still like to use this in the summer. The fine spray makes it perfect for use during the skincare routine or at any other point in the day as a hit of hydration, including over makeup.
Would I repurchase?
Yes – I think I have had 3 cans of this now since I started using it. A definite must have, especially, as I say, during the summer months.
Dr Paw Paw – Multipurpose Hair & Body Wash

Natural hair products are a real hit with me. I’m avoiding SLS based shampoos and conditioners and I feel like my hair is in much better condition. This hair and body wash smells absolutely amazing! Cruelty free, Paraben Free, SLS Free, just general nastiness-free, it’s fantastic. I’ve used this as both a shampoo and as a shower gel and it leaves my hair lovely and clean and smelling divine. As for body, my skin feels clean and soft.
Would I repurchase?
Absolutely! I have a new one open in the bathroom and one in my stock draw! 😛
Hylamide Sub-q eyes

This is one of those products where it’s been nice to use, but I can’t honestly say it’s done much. I really wanted to like this and don’t get me wrong, I don’t ‘dislike’ it, I just can’t shout about what it’s done for my under-eye area as I’m not sure it has done anything! What I will say is, it is a lovely, light serum type of product that absorbs well into the skin. I did however find that I preferred to use an additional eye cream over the top of this. Layering never caused any issues so that’s a plus point in that it worked well with whatever I put over the top.
Would I repurchase?
I don’t think I would. It’s just not a stand-out product for me personally. That isn’t to say it wouldn’t be for you!
Clinique Moisture Surge

This really doesn’t need any explanations if you follow either my blog or my Instagram! I use this every day and I have done for years. It’s a super light-weight gel-cream formula that is well absorbed into the skin. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated and protected all day.
Would I repurchase?
Again, if you follow me regularly you’ll have seen I have a stash of this!! I tend to buy it when it is on offer and put it away so that I never run out!! It’s THAT good!!
Clinique All About Eyes

So not the best photo in the world as I did find it difficult to photograph empty … however, this little pot of eye cream is lovely! It is super hydrating and easily absorbed into the skin leaving my under eyes perfectly prepped for makeup. Love it!
Would I repurchase?
Absolutely! I haven’t needed to actually buy many of these because I’ve had them so often in the gift with purchase offers and you only need a small amount but yes I will buy this again.
Estēe Lauder Revitilizing Supreme+ Global Anti-aging Cell Power Eye Balm!

As if the name of this eye balm wasn’t impressive enough, the contents are beautiful! Sticking with the eye-cream theme in this month’s empties, I got this as part of a beauty box I believe and have been using it as my night time eye cream. As above, a little goes a long way so this tiny pot has lasted me a while. Described as: A rich, nourishing, multi-action balm that significantly improves visible firmness and elasticity around the eyes, and reduces the look of lines, wrinkles, puffiness and dark circles. Leaves the eye area looking radiant. With powerful RevitaKey™ Technology featuring an exclusive Moringa Extract, it’s your key to younger-looking eyes.
Would I repurchase?
I will! I really loved it! Such a smoothing balm and perfect for a night time treat for my eyes! Definitely on my re-buy list!
Dr Paw Paw Original Balm

The Dr Paw Paw range for me started with this. The original balm which is great for so many things thanks to the healing properties of the Papaya fruit. I use this as a lip treat for dry, chapped lips and also on top of matte lipsticks to give a glossy finish.
Would I repurchase?
Yes! I’ve had a few of these now and have just purchased the red version. Great for a quick flush of colour for lips and cheeks!
The Ordinary ‘Buffet’

This is another product that has featured in various blog posts and also a previous empties post. It is a multi-peptide, water based serum by The Ordinary who are part of the Deceit company. The budget-friendly serums have been exceptionally popular with mass interest every time a new product is on the horizon for release. Buffet has been one of my favourites as I have noticed a reduction in the lines across my forehead. If there was one serum from The Ordinary if choosing an anti-ageing regime, this would be the recommended one! I now have the new version of this that contains Copper Peptides which I am yet to open but looking forward to trying.
Would I repurchase?
I would but I won’t be at the moment. I have the newer Buffet with Copper Peptides yet to open but I do recommend this as a great starter serum!
So that’s all for October – given we are half way through November, it won’t be long until this kind of post crops up again!!

I’ve been thinking of trying buffet so many times and the hyaluronic acid too from the ordinary

I’ve used both and they’re nice serums. The HA can be a bit sticky but when layering that’s not really an issue. I’ve switched to Hada Labo Premium for my HA serum now x

Oooo I will look into that brand, thanks for the advice

Seriously have to try Moisture Surge (although have moisturisers for a year atm), seeing it in your empties all the time and everybody raving about it I think this is one of the items I will surely purchase if I see a good Black Friday offer.

Very cool! I am interested in the La Roche Posay spray. If you check out my french girl skincare post I use the Avene one and love it, but it doesnt have zinc.

Some great bits there, always good to know what people like enough to re-purchase. I’ll give the buffet a try, I need a good serum for the lines on my forehead x

Yes that’s why I like to read Empties posts … I feel like it’s a better review of a product once it’s been used up x
