Good Genes Glycolic Acid Treatment by Sunday Riley is a serum that I’ve been loving. Glycolic Acid is an AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) which helps to dissolve and get rid of dead skin cells and excess oil which in turn gives the skin a clearer, smoother appearance.
The glycolic exfoliates and repairs the look of dull, congested and sun damaged skin whilst Prickly Pear soothes and calms the skin in a bid to reduce potential irritation. It also contains Lemongrass which helps to refresh the complexion because of its astringent properties (you learn something new every day as they say!!)
What I also like about this serum is it contains a type of lactic acid … Potassium Lactate for exfoliation and boosting hydration in the skin.
My skin has been loving this serum, leaving it feeling smooth without any irritation. It’s fit well into my routine, playing nicely with other products I already use. As with all AHAs please be extra vigilant about wearing SPF! (Just wear it every day anyway!!)
