In August last year, the lovely Laila Samson (who has a fab group on Facebook), sent me some nail wraps to try and then review….which you can read about here —-> Jamberry Nail Wraps – a review.
Nail Wraps are great….albeit a bit fiddly, if you practice, they become easier to do!
More recently, Jamberry released a new product called ‘Skinnies’. Skinnies are designed to be more for short-term wear and something that you can apply when you’re in a bit more of a hurry! They are easy to apply…very easy…in fact when I had applied mine, albeit just an accent nail, I posted photos to the Facebook group in amazement as to how easy they were to apply as I was so impressed!!
The sheet comes with numbered Skinnies in various sizes and they look like nail stickers with a little tab to lift them with. To apply (to clean nails), when you’ve selected the appropriate size (of which Jamberry suggest to err on the side of caution and choose one a little smaller to avoid overlapping as they won’t then seal to the nail and could result in lifting) using the tab, place the Skinnies on the nail and smooth it down using fingertips. Then you simply use the included nail file in a downward direction to remove any excess material from the end of the nail. Simples!

The nail file literally slices off the overlapping piece so there are no odd edges at the end of the nail. It really is such a quick process! It’s much quicker of course than applying the traditional wraps, which as much as I loved those too, sometimes I really don’t have time for the whole heating process so these are ideal when you need to save time!
Removal is simple too. I removed mine this evening and using a cotton pad soaked in nail polish remover I held it on my nail and it came away quite easily leaving my nail in the same condition as before the application so there is no damage to my nail which is also great!
If you’re on Facebook, check out the Jamberry Nails with Laila group as per the link above as Laila is always running competitions and fun things there so go check it out!
Have you tried these? I’d love to know your thoughts.

They are fun aren’t they? It’s like having nail art but without having to sit and try and paint different designs!! 😛 xx

I did enjoy those, I get distracted very easily, and don’t enjoy the feel of totally fake nails. Those were nice, fast, and neat

They’re much better than actual false nails for sure! I find false nails feel funny on my nails and ruin my nails when I remove them. These don’t which is great x

These really suit you! I love the normal nail wraps, but you do need to give yourself a bit of time to apply them. Will have to give these skinnies a go soon!

Thanks! These ones are much easier and quicker than the traditional nail wraps that need heating – I’ve posted about them before. These just need pressing on and you’re done! xx
