Only twelve days until Christmas day … have you finished your Christmas shopping? Hands up if you haven’t!! (Hands raised here!) I’m not sure what happens, time just flies but I best get a move on as I’ve still got presents to buy!
Speaking of presents, today’s M&S beauty calendar gift is:
The Hero Project – Hyasoft Instant Moisture Boost
This is a brand I’d not heard of before so was definitely intrigued to know more!
‘The Hero Project’ creates products that they claim are groundbreaking and effective, never tested on animals, vegan friendly and free from the usual nasty suspects … parabens, alcohol, mineral oil, phthalates and sulphates. Their mission is to create a brand that has ‘can’t-live-without’ products or as they call them ‘Heroes’ of your beauty routine.
The Hyasoft is a clear gel containing Hyaluronic Acid (2nd ingredient on the list!) and vitamin B5 to fight multiple signs of ageing, plump and soften skin. It is said to be perfect for thirsty skin.
The gel itself is lightweight and absorbs well without any stickiness or residue. As a quick test on opening I applied it to the back of one hand and left it to dry. It was absorbed quickly and after a couple of minutes that hand felt softer and smoother than the other. I merely used that to test how well it absorbed and the initial reaction to it. I of course need to test this on my face and over a period of time to give an actual review!
The instructions say to use either on it’s own or under your current day and/or night cream to boost hydration power of the moisturisers and for an extra refreshing boost, to use it from being stored in the fridge! I’ll certainly be giving that a go!
Priced at £19 for 30ml … this box contains a 30ml tube so … £19 it is then!
Do you have a beauty advent calendar? If so I’d love to know what treats you’re getting too!
