In two weeks of blogging about the Beauty Advent Calendar from M&S, I have had some fab products to try. I’m making my way through adding them into my routines or using them when I can so that I can give a full review. For now though, here’s day 14 … which I don’t need to test out to review!!
Leighton Denny Glass Nail File

I can say already without testing that I love Leighton Denny files as I already have one of these! They are made with the finest lead crystal and are treated to create a long lasting surface. With this file you can go back and forth over the nail (which of course would usually be breaking the rules of filing your nails), thanks to the ultra-fine surface it won’t snag the nail. It’s also the perfect pocket, purse or handbag size.
The files are guaranteed for 25years (my husband kindly pointed out when I got my other one of these, just how old I’d be when this guarantee runs out!)
If the surface quality of the file diminishes, affecting the efficacy of it, Leighton Denny will replace it free of charge. (This doesn’t apply if it has been broken through misuse)
The file can just simply be cleaned in hot water to remove build up from filing and it will refresh the surface.
Packaged in an aluminium case for protection, this file retails at £12.50, which for a 25year-lasting file is pretty good value for money!
Have you tried a glass nail file or do you prefer a standard emery board?
Do you have a beauty advent calendar? If so I’d love to know what treats you’re getting too!
