‘Luscious Locks’
Day 6 – almost a week into December and Christmas is less than three weeks away! So what is today’s advent treat? …
Philip Kingsley Elasticizer

Originally created in 1974 for Audrey Hepburn, the original Elasticizer was the world’s first pre-shampoo, conditioning hair treatment! It claims to add elasticity, bounce and shine to all hair types.
It is intended to be used before shampoo by applying it to your hair and covering it with a shower cap or towel, leaving on for 10-20 minutes (or overnight if you wish) then shampooing it off as in a normal hair wash.
Uplifting notes of vanilla, patchouli and cedar are wrapped in a rich fragrance of pomegranate and cassis, perfectly punctuated by zesty orange, and spicy undertones of ginger and nutmeg.

How amazing does that sound??? I can’t wait to get it on my hair!!
I first tried the Elasticizer in the Marks & Spencer Beauty Advent calendar in 2016 and found I liked it back then! I’ve since had a tube of Coconut Breeze which smells amazing and now this Pomegranate & Cassis smells even better!! It even contains sunscreen for UV protection so now that I have my hair coloured I really should use this regularly … and I certainly will!
I loved how my hair felt and looked when I’ve used the other tubes of this that I have had but in honesty I haven’t replaced it for a while, purely because I keep forgetting to buy it but my hair could really do with it so I’m super pleased that this is in today’s calendar box and can’t wait to try this Pomegranate and Cassis version as I haven’t used it before.
At £28.00 per 100ml, this 40ml tube is valued at £11.20! Paraben and alcohol free too 🙂
Do you have a beauty advent calendar? If so I’d love to know what treats you’re getting too!

This sounds great! I’m a big fan of hair masks for after shampoo, but never heard of a pre hair mask before! I definitely need to get this! And pomegranate is my favourite scent at the moment too!
