Top 3 under £5 

1.  Barry M Dazzle Dust Eye Shadow £4.59 (Boots)

I have a couple of shades of these eye shadows as they are great for adding that extra sparkle to colours applied underneath.  I use these powders wet for a more foiled effect and mostly use them for my dance competition makeup.  I have a green and a turquoise colour and both give great, long lasting, high pigmented results.

I would use these eye shadows again and again.  It is a little pot but a little goes a long way so I think the 2 pots I have will last a while!

2.  Miss Sporty Mascara, Just Clear 101  £2.99 (Superdrug)

Please ignore the state of this!!  This was taken on the verge of being thrown out!  This clear mascara is brilliant…but I don’t use it as a mascara.  I use it as a brow gel for when I am using a pencil, I then apply the clear mascara over the top to set my eyebrows and they stay in place.  I have had a few of these now and would buy again.  The only reason I am not using one of these at the moment, as you would see in my post 25 Days of Blogging – Countdown to Christmas Day 4 🙂 , I have a new one from my advent calendar by Pixi.

3.  No7 Powder Puff  £4.95  (Boots)

One of the best ways to apply loose powder, especially when setting makeup to last all day, it is best to use a powder puff.  I don’t buy expensive ones as I have found the one I have from No7 does a perfect job.  At £4.95 it’s a great tool to have in the makeup draw.
