Ok, I know, I know I’ve already posted my ‘Final empties of 2019’ … but then when I finished my moisturiser and went to put the empty pot in the box I store empties in until I blog about them, I realised I had loads more! So … before the year is out, here’s a quick run through of the FINAL FINAL empties post of the year!

Paco Rabanne Lady Million Empire

I received this in the post from Glamour Beauty Club and absolutely loved it! It has a sweet, floral scent which I love, very much my kind of fragrance and ended up putting this onto my Christmas list … and lucky me, I now have the full size! It is said to be a combination of Sparkling florals (Magnolia, Orange Blossom and Osmanthus) and Cognac addiction (Cognac Essence, Cherry Plum, White Patchouli and Vanilla).
Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb

Described as ‘Escapism in a bottle…’ this has been a favourite of mine for a while now. It has top notes of tea and bergamot, middle notes of Sambac jasmine with a hint of orange tree, Catleya orchid, freesia and Centifolia rose and a woody base note of Patchouli. It has a lovely summery scent, again, my kind of fragrance. I love it and would definitely repurchase.
Jimmy Choo

Another favourite fragrance … I seem to be coming to the end of my fragrances at the same time as I tend to rotate them and not necessarily use the same one each day. There’s a common theme with the scents that I like, summery, floral, sweet – pretty much sums my preference up! With top notes of Pear, Mandarin & Orange, Heart notes of Orchid and Base notes of Patchouli and Toffee I absolutely love it!
Super Facialist Vitamin C+ Cleansing Oil

I picked this cleansing oil up in TKMaxx and as I’d heard good things about it, I wanted to give it a go. I do love a good cleansing oil and this is exactly what this is. It is infused with Vitamin C, Olive, Grapeseed and Rosehip oils and boosted with Rosemary oil, Vitamin E and Cucumber oil. The oil transforms to a milky texture. I was a bit worried about using it around my eyes because they can be super sensitive when it comes to makeup removers but it is a really gentle yet effective cleanser. I will definitely be repurchasing this.
Clinique Take The Day Off

This balm is simple and effective and does exactly what it says on the tin. It removes all traces of makeup. It has featured in many of my empties posts as I use this a lot and will be getting another one of these asap!
The Ordinary Advanced Retinoid 2%

I started to use The Ordinary’s Advanced Retinoid as I want to start using a form of retinol in my skincare routine for its anti-ageing properties but have been to scared to haha! The retinoid is said to be less likely to cause irritation which is why I started with this. I didn’t have any issues using this and it fit well into my routine. The science behind retinols and retinoids isn’t really in my domain however what I do understand is that retinols are used as an anti-ageing product thanks to their cell turnover and elastin production qualities. Retinols are long associated with purging of the skin, sensitivities, reactions and so on, generally from going in too harsh from using nothing to then hitting the skin hard! Skin needs to be introduced to these products and from what I have seen when looking into these products, the Advanced Retinoid serum is a stable, more gentle formula to begin with. I won’t be repurchasing this (although The Ordinary has a newer updated range of Retinols and Retinoids) in favour of trying to add Tretinoin into my routine – we shall see how that goes!
Clinique Moisture Surge

This has featured on my blog so often and has been a staple part of my morning routine for a few years now. A lightweight gel-cream texture that is perfect for dehydrated skin. I am sure I will repurchase this at some point as I do always come back to it, however I do have a couple of other moisturisers to use from my skincare stash first!
Forever Living Aloe Deodorant

I have been using this deodorant for a couple of years now and it is one of the only ones that I have tried that actually works which does’t contain aluminium! I have tried quite a few and keep coming back to this one. I have to be honest, I’ve always dreaded running out of this and needing to find a rep who will just sell me the deodorant without a sales pitch into other products (sorry but that’s my experience!) but I do seem to have now found someone who understands that I know what I want to buy! I will continue to purchase this and can highly recommend it if you’re looking for an aluminium free deodorant.
Hylamide Hydra-Density Mist

This hydrating mist is designed to support skin hydration. It contains Marine Saccharides and Glucuronic Acid to help retain moisture levels and purified Green Tea polyphenols and Tasmanian Pepperberry to help with redness and inflammation in the skin. I have enjoyed using this mist and would repurchase it. I won’t buying another just yet as hydrating sprays are a vice of mine and I have a few stashed away already haha!
Pixi Milky Tonic

I am a Pixi fan without a doubt and use a variety of their cleansers, tonics, sprays and masks. I picked this up at the Pixi store in London and have loved using it as a nice hydrating and soothing addition to my routine. I tend to use this either straight after cleansing, after a Vitamin C tonic, Retinol Tonic or Glow Tonic as my next step in my regime. I will definitely be buying a replacement for this!
Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo

I think this is the second ’empty’ that I have had of this dry shampoo and can honestly say it’s one of the best I’ve used as it doesn’t leave a white cast in my hair like some others do. To top it off, it smells great too! Highly recommended and I will be repurchasing at some point.
So…this time that really is it! More to come in 2020 I’m sure!
