Sabāo – The Aromatherapy Collection

*Items in this post were gifted for review – see disclaimer at the end*

Sabāo is a company that supplies luxurious bath bombs and other bath and body products that contain wonderfully exotic essential oils from around the world. I was gifted a selection of their products to try out and see what I thought of them.

The box contained a selection of amazing-smelling products!!

Tea Tree & Peppermint Shampoo Bar

This particular one, I have to be honest and say I haven’t used it yet as I am planning to take it away with me! Bars like this are super convenient to take on holiday instead of risking leaking bottles in the suitcase! It is SLS free which is something I now always look for in a Shampoo (and won’t buy one that does contain SLS!). The scent is refreshing as the peppermint is more prominent than the tea tree (which for my preference is a good thing!) but tea tree is used in a lot of skincare products for oily skin for it’s antibacterial properties. This is said to last 15-20 washes and has an RRP of £3.50.

Organic Body Butter

Containing 3 main butters, Cocoa, Mango and Shea, along with Avocado oil, Kukui Nut oil and Vitamin E, this is a thick, super rich, hydrating and nourishing body butter. I have used this on the drier parts of my skin so elbows, knees, feet and ankles … the places where for example I know when I have a spray tan it may stick to! You do only need a small amount as it melts really well and is absorbed nicely into the skin. The RRP is £3.00.

Sweet Dreams Bath Salts

I do use Epsom Salts in the bath as they’re known for their relaxation properties and also their ability to help ease muscle aches and tension. Sometimes I just use them as a foot soak for the same reason! These Sweet Dreams bath salts contain Marjoram & Lavender to promote relaxation. They are also infused with Eucalyptus and Ginger oil which is known for helping circulation and lifting your mood! I do like these salts and it gives a relaxing aroma to add to the Epsom salt qualities. One thing to note is to get the best from bath salts, try to relax in the bath for at least 20 minutes. This is when you’ll start to feel the benefits. A 500g tub of these is £4.50.

Tea Tree & Lemon Organic Shower Gel

This shower gel contains over 70% aloe vera leaf juice and is SLS and paraben free – (again being SLS and paraben free are selling points for me when looking for a shower gel). This, as with the shampoo bar is infused with Tea tree but this time it is mixed with lemon. Personally, I found the scent wasn’t quite to my liking. I think for me the tea tree scent was a little over-bearing in this as a body wash. Although I wasn’t keen, scent, as I always mention is a very individual thing so you may well love it!

Bath Bombs

There are 6 bath bombs in the Wellness collection by Sabāo and I received the Brazilian Rosewood & French Lavender (Blue pic) which promotes relaxation and grounding and the Italian Neroli & Argentinean Lemon (Orange pic) which is calming and rejuvenating. All of their bath bombs are SLS free, paraben free and vegan. They also contain Cocoa butter to keep the skin soft and moisturised plus Kaolin clay known for it’s detoxifying properties. The point of these bath bombs is to promote wellness and get something more from relaxing in the bath. Day to day life is so stressful sometimes and it’s nice to just stop and take some time out and relax! These bath bombs help to look after the skin and the mind! They retail at £4.50. I really enjoyed both of these and felt the oils really helped me to relax.

Over all I enjoyed trying these products out. Who doesn’t like to take time out and chill?!
