13…unlucky for some…not for me with a beauty advent calendar and getting a perfume in box 13!

Day 13 is:

Shay & Blue, Blood Oranges

This is the second Shay & Blue perfume that I have had in these M&S calendars as last year’s was on Christmas Day …… 25 DAYS OF BLOGGING – COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS, DAY 25  At first, I wasn’t that keen on that particular one but I got used to it and actually found it to be quite a nice scent.  This newer one is called ‘Blood Oranges‘ I am absolutely loving!  It is sweet and citrus but not in a sickly way at all.  I would describe it as a lovely winter warm scent.  I have said in many of my posts that include perfume that I can only describe it as I find it but that isn’t necessarily what you would think of it.  Everyone takes different things from fragrance and scents also smell different on people’s individual skin.

The information about the scent as taken from the Shay & Blue website…..

• Top Note – Immediate fresh bursts of blood orange segments and juice.
• Heart Note – At the core of this fragrance lies a well balanced note of hot napa leather that is sensual and intense.
• Base Note – A few hours into the dry-down discover sultry and passionate musk with charred woods and amber.

Price wise, it is £55 for 100ml meaning this travel size bottle is worth £5.50!

This is a lovely fragrance and one I will certainly be wearing.
