New blog post!  MUA for the day! A 1950’s photo shoot!

#cultbeautyskincarechallenge day 7 (albeit a bit late!!) is Dark Circles. I am quite lucky in that my under eye area is more dry than dark so I don’t have too much need to use a skincare product for dark circles as I’m happy with concealer so I focus on treating the dry skin. That said, I do treat my eyes to these amazing eye masks by @esteelauderukevery so often. When I do I get comments about my eyes looking fresh and awake!! I love how these masks leave my under eye area feeling and looking! Highly recommend these!! Have you ever tried them?

Day 8 of #cultbeautyskincarechallenge is ‘Glow giver’ …. I tried this 7 day supply of the @cliniqueuk Vitamin C and absolutely loved it. I noticed a difference in my skin really quickly. This is on my list of things to buy again without a doubt! Have you tried this?

Day 9 of #cultbeautyskincarechallenge is ‘Ingredient’ …. I ordered these Rosehip Exfoliating Seeds from @emmahardieskincare They are to be added to the cleansing Balm (which I LOVE!) and are said to be perfect for getting a ‘softer, brighter looking complexion’ I will be trying them tonight so will review them and let you know what I think! Have you used these?

Throwback Thursday to my first Blackpool competition in 2010! Talk about nervous!! My eyelashes were also far too big …. I soon moved to Eylure lashes after this!! My eyes looked closed on almost every photo they were that heavy!! Have you ever learned a makeup lesson the hard way??

Day 10 of #cultbeautyskincarechallenge is ‘Spot Treat’ This is a new product to me but it’s The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2%. Literally used to Spot Treat…this isn’t a whole face Serum. I’ve only used it a few times and I’d say it’s pretty effective! I make sure I use moisturiser afterwards plus SPF during the day but it does it’s job!!

Day 11 of #cultbeautyskincarechallenge is SPF. A real anti-aging product not only protecting against signs of aging but also from deeper damage causing skin cancer. I wear SPF every day that I’m going out of the house…especially as I use acids in my skincare routine. These are some of my current faves. @ultrasunuk SPF30 , @thebodyshop SPF50 and I’ve just started using @larocheposay Anthelios SPF50 on top of makeup …. testing out ready for my holidays!! Do you wear SPF?

Day 12 of #cultbeautyskincarechallenge is ‘pre-party’ …. so many lippies to choose but I always start with @dr.pawpaw original balm. Gives me a perfect canvas no matter what finish of lippy I go for. I apply at the end of my skincare routine before any other makeup so it has time to work. 💛💛 have you tried Dr Paw Paw? 💛💛
