Another mixed week on Instagram, more 1950s shots, more of my Max Factor Influenster shots and a bit more excitement to boot in the form of the final photo on this post…keep reading!
**Note, this post will contain images of items that were sent to me for review. If they were sent to me for free, I will use the #free label on the photo caption**
Monday Manicure! Majique nail polish in ‘Aubergine’ with an accent of a Jamberry nail, sent to me to review. I can’t believe how long my nails have become! I’ve also been using Mango cuticle oil send to me by Majique. They’ve been super strong but I managed to break one of them today whilst doing my housework! Proves one thing….housework is dangerous!! What do you think? #Free
A few more shots from the 1950s style photo shoot! My first run of makeup application for a professional photo shoot! What do you think? Do you suit a different era? Photos taken by Fredric Frennessen
These few photos are of the gorgeous Max Factor makeup I received complimentary to test and review in my Voxbox from Influenster …. this pic is the final look using the Colour Elixir Universal Lip Liner which is brilliant as it is clear and can be used with any lip colour. Goes on smoothly and doesn’t tug at the lip like some pencils do! Also used the Colour Elixir lipstick in ‘Pearl Maron’ … a beautiful intense but light lipstick. The staying power is amazing…eating and drinking and hours later it’s still there. I suffer with dry lips and this really moisturises them and doesn’t show the dryness at all!! 👌 #Free
Final look adding in the Honey Laquer in ‘Honey Rose’ on top. This is a lovely light pink shade that’s nice for during the day but looks fab ontop of the lipstick, perhaps making it a little softer. Very nice to wear, not sticky or tacky on the lips and feels very smooth as if I’m wearing a lip balm! Loving all 3 products!! #Free

The final installment of the 1950s photo shoot from last weekend. I really enjoyed doing the makeup look for this, my first attempt at makeup application for such an event! Photos by Fredric Frennessen
It’s booked!! My hubby booked to go to NYC for our 15th Wedding Anniversary in June but we had to cancel thanks to me being under medical investigation on my heart. All fine according to my cardiologist so it’s booked! We go in early October! Trying this @larocheposayAnthelios SPF as it can be sprayed over makeup…or so I’ve read…will be testing it out before then! Have you been to NYC? Where do I want to be heading when I’m there? @sephora is of course top of the list!!
So that’s all for this week’s Instagram revisit!
