I suffer from dry, sometimes cracked lips but also love wearing Matte liquid lipsticks at the moment…..really doesn’t look good on dry lips!!  So…today I used the Lush lip scrub that I bought ages ago and followed it with Paw Paw ointment….my lips were super soft and my Matte lippy went on like a dream!  Have you tried either of these?   **Update..this photo was shared by @DrPawPaw!

Vital product for me today helping me cool down!  I sometimes take advantage of 3 for 2 in The Body Shop…putting whatever I’m not using in a draw.  Glad I did now with 32*C weather!!  Do you use a face mist in hot weather?

Tip Tuesday!  I saw this tip on the Emma Hardie Facebook page….to store the Amazing Face Cleansing Balm in the fridge….why didn’t I think of that?  In the current heat wave, I’ll admit, mine has been starting to melt.  I put it in the fridge yesterday…I decided to use it for my evening cleanse tonight…oh my gosh…just do it….put it in the fridge!  It feels so good on my skin cold!  So good that I actually double cleansed using the same cleanser tonight!    **Update….this photo was shared by @emmahardieskincare!

This was the other face mist from The Body Shop……think I’ll use this one today….it’s super refreshing with a gorgeous citrus smell!

Finally got round to painting my nails….it’s only been about 2 weeks!  I can’t believe how much they’ve grown and how much stronger they are!  Do you have any hand-care tips?  **Update – this was on Thursday evening…it’s now Monday and this hasn’t chipped…I think the base and top coat used deserve a little review!!  Nail polish lasting on me is unheard of usually…this is the second time!!

I usually wear Double Wear on a night out, I was staying over in a hotel and didn’t want to take too much makeup for an overnight stay! So this morning, I mixed a little foundation with my usual Moisture Surge and it gave me a lovely light base but with a bit more coverage than a tinted moisturiser and a bit more hydration than Double Wear usually offers.  Great combination!  Do you use tinted moisturiser or do you create your own?

Eye makeup for last night’s meal out in Bath was started with Nyx white base followed by Mac’s blue/brown Pigment powder.  I applied it wet with Mac Fix+ then used it dry to blend into the crease.  Unfortunately none of the selfies really showed my eye makeup well enough….other makeup used:                                                                          *Estee Lauder Double Wear     *DiorBlush Light and Contour       *Laura Mercier Setting Powder     *Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette     *Nars Orgasm Blush     *Estee Lauder Lash Primer Plus and Mascara     *Benefit Gimmebrow     *Clinique Liquid Lip in Ripe Pop                            

I received a travel size version of this for my birthday from a friend and I loved it.  In Bath yesterday I popped into the Molton Brown store and couldn’t resist buying the bigger bottle!        **Update……this post received a comment from Molton Brown saying they love the photo and asking to use this on their Instagram 🙂
