#MAKEUPMUSTHAVESCHALLENGE DAY 30 – Final Day – Makeup Stash!

So…the final day of this challenge and it’s proved what a makeup addict I am!  My makeup stash doesn’t seem so obvious when it’s split between draws and pot and trays!  However, laying it out on my duvet and ummm well….take a look….and be prepared for a long read 😛

Eyeshadows!

I am slightly addicted to eyeshadows….Urban Decay palettes are certainly a weakness!  I don’t think there is anything in this photo that I don’t like!  The Mac paint pots are a little old now and probably due for replacement soon but the only one I think I would replace is the ‘Soft Ochre’ as it is a great base for other eyeshadows.  The NYX matte white eye shadow base is quite a new one for me but white really does make other colours pop.

Blush…..I have a few but not too many 😛   The Clinique Chubby Stick in ‘Rhubarb’ is a cream stick that I use before I apply my setting powder.  I can then intensify this with a powder blush if I want to.  NARS blush in ‘Orgasm’ and ‘Deep Throat’ are very soft subtle blush colours for a buildable colour.  Mac Pro Longwear in ‘Whole Lotta Love’ and Nyx ‘Double Dare’ are both competition colours that I use either on their own or by mixing the two depending on what sort of look I am going for.  I was given the Laura Mercier Palette as my sister wasn’t using it.  The main thing I love from this is the Lush Nectarine blush which is a lovely soft coral colour.

Concealers….NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer and Make Up Forever HD are my favourites.  The Mac concealer is a little dark for me at this time of year….I bought it when I was on holiday and had a tan but it is a great one to use when I have my fake tan for dance comps!

Lashes & Eyebrows….Maybelline Lash Sensational and Estee Lauder’s Sumptuous Lash are both great mascaras but coupled with Lash Primer Plus, most mascaras are improved as it coats the lashes for extra volume.  Whatever I use for my eyebrows just depends what I pick up at the time but if I am going out with full makeup I’m more likely to use the Gimmebrow by Benefit.  Mac’s automatic pencil in ‘Brunette’ and any clear brow gel / mascara work great together also.

Eyeliners….not quite sure how many eyes I think I have!!  My ultimate favourites here are Urban Decay by a mile.  Razor Sharp liquid liners and also the 24/7 pencils.  The pencils are the softest, most blendable pencils I have used.  A white pencil is a must have for the waterline/inner corner of the eye to make it look more open…not sure why I need 5!!!

Lippies….only a few 🙂  Going by other people’s collections I don’t think this is too bad 🙂

All about the base 🙂  I have reviewed these in other blogs but in a nutshell…..all of these primers I have found work well under most of the foundations that I use.  The Porefessional by Benefit is the only one that I have had issues with sometimes.  I have found that it sometimes balls up under foundation but I haven’t used it recently with my newer foundations so I will give it another go as it could be the way I am applying it.  Foundations-wise I have mentioned these in other blogs previously but Estee Lauder’s Double Wear is without doubt the longest wearing foundation that I have, followed by Diorskin Forever, then Nars Sheer Glow.  I am still making my mind up on the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation but it’s turning out to be a decent one with a primer underneath and powder on top.  🙂

For my sin type, setting a foundation with powder is a must for it to last.  That’s where the loose powders come in.  More on that in the blog link above!

I think that’s everything 😛  It’s also the last day of the challenge!  30 days of the makeupmusthaves 🙂  I hope you enjoyed the posts….I don’t think I should buy any more makeup for a while…do you?  😛
