Foundation favourites!

I thought I’d show you my pro kit and my own kit foundations!

Foundations - Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless, Loreal True Match, Mac Face and Body, The Ordinary Serum, Armani Luminous Silk, Nars Radiant Longwear, Mac Studio Fix

The two I have in my own makeup stash are:

✨ Nars Radiant Longwear

Lightweight yet buildable medium to full coverage that leaves my skin looking smooth and even.  I love using this when I want something long lasting and to give me a good base for a full makeup look such as an evening look.

✨ Armani Beauty Luminous silk

A beautifully light foundation that has a buildable medium coverage, giving the skin a natural, slightly dewy but not overly glowy finish.  Definitely one of my absolute favourites that I’ve been using for over a year now that I’d love to add to my pro kit!

The rest I have in my pro kit and a few in my own kit aswell which are:

✨ Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless … a new one to me and my kit and so far I’m loving it!  It’s is definitely one of the heavier foundations I’ve got and gives a good full coverage.  It is great for oilier skin types and does give the skin that airbrushed look without looking cakey.

✨ Mac Face & Body … absolute kit staple! I love this foundation.  Super lightweight, feels like nothing on the skin, great for anyone who doesn’t like the feel of a normal foundation.  It can be built without issue and gives a very natural finish.  One of my faves without a doubt and wouldn’t be without it in my kit!

✨ Mac Studio Fix Fluid … another kit staple I wouldn’t be without.  This is my most used kit foundation for Brides as it gives a lovely medium but buildable coverage without feeling heavy on the skin.  I would describe it more as a demi-matte finish as it doesn’t look totally flat which is good for getting a more natural finish.  A definite go-to must have!

✨ Loreal True Match … I only have a few shades of this in my kit because I wanted to test it out and it’s actually really nice!  A more affordable foundation option but delivers a higher quality.  I used this last on a photoshoot and my client’s skin looked fabulous.   I’m sure that Makeup Artist Pauline Briscoe was the influence in me trying this in my kit 💋

✨ Deciem The Ordinary Serum … another affordable option and definitely one worth trying.  I have this in my own kit as well as my pro kit.  It’s a very thin consistency so feels light to wear leaving a natural dewy finish.

Spot any faves? ✨
