My Beauty Brawl item for day 6 ‘Primer’ is the NIOD Photography Fluid Opacity 12%
I got this primer as part of a QVC NIOD set which housed the Mastic Must mask, CAIS, MMHC and this Photography Fluid.
I think this is an interesting product as some primers can make the skin look quite flat, especially on camera. I generally am one for a matte primer and foundation but I had to give this a go!
A novel approach to creating a foundation for skin that reflects even radiance in life and very specifically through the camera lens, this instant treatment is serum-textured but contains a wide array of light refracting prisms, tone and hue correctors and topical photo-finishing technologies to offer even radiance within seconds. This can be used under foundation or on it’s own. I personally don’t think I could wear this on as it’s incredibly shiny!! I’ve applied it to my hand in the photo below but that’s just my opinion, it may work absolutely fine for the next person! If you have very oily skin I don’t think this would be suitable!
Under foundation this is a lovely ‘lit from within’ kind of primer. It is a very runny, serum-like consistency and from a dropper it can be a little messy which is reflected in the scores on the card below.
At £20 for the 30ml bottle I do think it is quite a reasonable price as you really only need a small amount of this!
