I found this tag post when reading a post by beccaleebeauty and thought I’d give it a go as I like reading other people’s answers 🙂

SKINCARE

How many times do you wash your face daily?

A. Twice, morning and night

What skin type do you have? (dry,oily,combo)

A. Oily/Combination….oily t-zone, dry under eyes, normal everywhere else (why be normal??  haha!)

What is your current facial wash?

A. Estee Lauder Perfectly Clean – can be used as a mask or face wash

Do you exfoliate?

A. Yes, my toner is a liquid exfoliant and I use exfoliating face masks once or twice a week 🙂

What brand do you use?

A. Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal face mask, Clinique’s 2nd step of the 3 step for my liquid exfoliant

What moisturizer do you use?

A. Clinique Moisture Surge….LOVE IT!

Do you have freckles?

A. Yes but they only come out in the summer 😛

Do you use eye cream?

A. Yes, Clinique All About Eyes

Do you or did you have acne prone skin?

A. Only really around my chin, likely hormonal thanks to PCOS

Did you ever have to use Pro-activ?

A. No

MAKE-UP
What foundation do you use?

A. Depends on what I’m doing – dance competitions is always Estee Lauder Double Wear, an evening out either Double Wear or Dior Forever, during the day if I choose a liquid would be Nars Sheer Glow,  mineral would be Bare Minerals and if I’m in a hurry, Mac Studio Fix powder.  Yes I do have them all in my draw at the same time, yes I am aware I only have one face!  😛 😛 😛 ……………ooooh and I also have Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation….this would be another day time option as it doesn’t last long enough on me….oh dear….I have a foundation issue don’t I??? Haha!

How about concealer?

A. I do only use 2 different ones and it’s just whichever I pick up as I’m doing my makeup but Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer and Makeup Forever Ultra HD concealer.

Do you know your undertone color?

A. Nope…..any idea how I tell??

What do you think of fake eyelashes?

A. I used to hate them when I first started dancing but I have gotten used to applying them so I now don’t mind them at all!  I use really full ones for dance competitions, maybe I could try some light ones for a night out??  Never really used them outside of dancing!!

Did you know that you are suppose to change your mascara every 3 months?

A. Yes!

What brand of mascara do you use?

A. Currently Estee Lauder but I have so many sample sizes from various brands, I’m working my way through them!!  As I don’t wear makeup every day the sample sizes last a lot longer than they’re meant to 😛

Sephora or MAC?

A. Mac only on the basis we don’t have Sephora in the UK…I’ve heard a rumour it’s coming to Westfield, London though so if that is true I best call my bank and warn them there’s likely to be a high value transaction happening!!  😛 😛

Do you have a MAC Pro-card?

A. No

What makeup tools do you use in make up application?

A. My favourite thing for foundation is the original Beauty Blender…I do have dupes and use them all the time but I love my original BB but I only have one!   I have stacks of brushes of all varieties and as long as it does the job and feels nice on my skin…I’ll use it.  I don’t care what brand it is…I have very cheap brushes from Wilkinsons and expensive ones from Mac and Bold Metals from Real Techniques.

Do you use make-up base/primer for the eyes?

A. Not if I’m in a rush or just doing a daytime look that if it doesn’t matter how long it lasts.  For dancing, competitions and events I would always use a base of some description…Mac Paintpot in Soft Ochre, a concealer, or I’ve just discovered NYX white base which is fab for making bright colours pop.

For the face?

A. I use a couple of primers….Dior Forever and ever wear is fab!  Especially under the Dior foundation but it also works well with all of my other foundations.  I have just treated myself to the small size Hourglass mineral primer as it is AMAZING but expensive…so I treated myself to the smaller bottle with my birthday money 🙂

What is your favorite eyeshadow (color or shade)?

A. Too many to choose from unfortunately!!

Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner?

A. Both.  Depends what look I’m going for…again for dance comps I’d use liquid for the staying power 🙂

How often do you poke your eyes with an eyeliner pencil?

A. ALL OF THE TME!!  And I do it with mascara too!

What do you think of pigment eyeshadows?

A. Love them…I have some Mac pigment powders and Bella Pierre ones too.  I don’t use them often but I love them 🙂

Do you use mineral makeup?

A. I use Bare Minerals foundation

What is your favorite lipstick?

A. Dance comps lipstick is Girl About Town by Mac….Bright would be Clinique’s Liquid Lip in Ripe Pop, Nude would be Clinique’s Liquid Lip in Cake Pop

How about lipgloss?

A. I don’t have a favourite as I don’t use much of it. I have lip glosses but prefer lipsticks.  Although my favourite one previously was Mac Creamsheen…it was a nude colour but I’ve only bought it once and run out of it, just haven’t replaced it but it was fab…not sticky like a lot are.

What is your favorite blush to use?

A. Dance Comps blusher is Mac Pro Longwear in ‘Whole Lotta Love’, and Nyx ‘Double Dare’ high definition blush.  Day to day, Clinique Chubby Stick in Rhubarb or Nars ‘Deep Throat’ or ‘Orgasm’ 🙂

Do you buy your makeup on ebay?

A. Nope

Do you like drugstore makeup?

A. Yes …. I like makeup full stop!

Do you go to CCO’s? (cosmetic company outlets)

A. If I am at an outlet centre then yes!

Did you ever consider taking make-up classes?

A. Not really no….I did want to work for a cosmetic company though!

Are you clumsy in putting on makeup?

A. Only with eyeliner and mascara when I sometimes poke myself in the eye!

Name a makeup crime that you hate?

A. Two pet hates would be eyeliner that is nowhere near the lash line and foundation that hasn’t been blended!

Do you like colorful shades of makeup (lipstick,eyeshadow) or neutral ones?

A. Usually more neutral shades but I like to experiment…and surprise surprise…for dancing! lol

Which celebrity always has great make up?

A. Lots of them do!

If you could leave the house using just ONE make up item,what would you use?

A. Lip Balm…if that counts…if not then maybe mascara

Could you ever leave the house without any makeup on?

A. Yep…and I regularly do!

Do you think you look good even without any makeup on?

A. No, not really!

In your opinion, what is the BEST makeup line?

A. Hmmm, too many to name one but my faves are….Nars, Dior, Urban Decay, Clinique, Estee Lauder….

What do you think of Makeup?

A. What a question!!  I love it!  It’s essentially playing with paint!
