Rosie for Autograph collection

As a makeup addict, you can imagine my excitement when I received a package from Marks & Spencer containing a gorgeous selection of Rosie for Autograph makeup!  The first Rosie for Autograph item that I owned was a lipstick in Supermodel Smile from the beauty advent calendar in 2016 and I loved it!  If you haven’t heard of this range before, it was developed in collaboration with Model and Actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley exclusively for Marks & Spencer.  The products are cruelty free, alcohol free, fragrance free, hypoallergenic, suitable for all skin types and one of my favourite things to note…they are paraben free.

Packaging

Each item I took from the box was beautifully packaged in either white and rose gold or black and rose gold which looked classically elegant.  The compacts themselves are sturdy yet simply stunning.

Anniversary Palette

The white and rose gold box housed a beautiful palette containing a bronzer, highlighter, cream blush and 6 eyeshadows.   The shades are super easy to use, pigmented and blendable – a perfect palette for travel too as it has everything for a few different looks.  I have to point out also that it’s only when you buy an eyeshadow palette that doesn’t contain a mirror that you appreciate ones like this that do!

Compacts

Bronzer – I am a fan of matte bronzers.  I think they make the perfect product for a light contour and for generally giving warmth to the complexion.  I tend to save shimmer products for highlighting so this is perfect.  It is soft and easily blendable – a little goes a long way.  I start with sweeping this along my cheeks and then dust anything remaining on the brush around my temples, forehead, and down my nose.

Cream Blush – This is one of my favourites in this package.  The Romantic Flush shade is absolutely stunning and is universally flattering.  It is highly pigmented so you only need the smallest amount of it.  I dab a small amount onto my cheeks and use my Beauty Blender to seamlessly blend it in with the rest of my makeup.  I love it!

Eyeshadow Palette – The quad eyeshadow palette contains a selection of matte and pearl finish shadows that compliment each other beautifully.

Cream sticks

Cream Eyeshadow – Another LOVE product for me.  I am super impressed with this cream eyeshadow stick.  This claims to be long-wearing and for me, this was the one thing I was going to test given almost all cream eyeshadows crease on me and do not last.  This applies easily, blends easily where I want it to (I apply it to my mobile lid direct from the stick then use an eyeshadow brush to blend into my crease) and it lasts!  No creasing at all…super impressed!

Starstruck Lip & Cheek colour – I have to say, another LOVE product, (honestly couldn’t rave about these enough!).  It can be used on cheeks or lips for a subtle hint of colour with a beautiful dewy finish.  Both the eyeshadow and the starstruck sticks have become my go-to products for makeup in a hurry!

Lipstick –  I am quite fussy when it comes to lipstick as I suffer with dry lips, especially during the winter.  Many lipsticks can make this worse for me but the formula of these lipsticks is super hydrating and leave my lips feeling comfortable, likely to be thanks to the fact they are enriched with Argan oil.

The pigment of these is fabulous and they are long wearing.  My absolute favourite is the middle of these three shades ‘Rosie Lips’.  Classically and beautifully packaged in a magnetic close tube that has a top quality feel to it.  Wonderful!

My thoughts on the range of products is that they are all high quality, beautifully packaged and wonderfully pigmented.  I have even decided to add some of these products to my pro makeup kit.  If you haven’t tried any Rosie for Autograph makeup, I can highly recommend that you do!
