If you’ve followed my blog or Instagram for a while, you may have seen that I am a bit of a skincare junkie….ok that’s a bit of an understatement! There a a few products that stay consistent for me and one of them is the Moisture Surge from Clinique, of which I have no idea how many pots I’ve had but I have used it for at least the last couple of years, if not more!
Every so often Clinique release a set that includes this and say a chubby stick plus the Overnight Mask or eye cream and so on. These sets are always a great price as the moisturiser itself is £34 for the 50ml pot so to have a couple of extras for a total of £40 is something I happily pay!
December 2017, the Christmas sets were released and they did not disappoint as this year also contained a travel size version of the Hydrating Supercharge Concentrate which I have used before and absolutely love it!
Clinique More Than Moisture Set
The set contained:
Moisture Surge 50ml – this suits my oily/combination skin perfectly. It is a light-weight gel formula that absorbs quickly without leaving any residue on the skin. My skin feels perfectly prepped for makeup with this on and it feels like it seals in all previously applied serums. I love it!
Moisture Surge Overnight Mask 30ml – another favourite but I have to admit, I haven’t used this as often as I should because I have other night-time masks that I use. That said, I do have a few of these 30ml tubes so I will start using it more. It is a richer cream than the moisturiser and leaves my skin feeling super soft and well hydrated.
Moisture Surge Hydrating Supercharged Conentrate – this contains anti-oxident spheres and is a light-weight water gel. It is used underneath moisturiser to boost hydration. I loved this when I used it last time so I’m glad to have this in this set.
Chubby Stick in Woppin’ Watermelon – I do like the Chubby Sticks as they don’t dry my lips out. In fact I love Clinique lipsticks generally – especially they’re Matte Liquid ones, again non-drying so a winner in my book!
This set was an utter bargain after Christmas! Reduced from £40 to £26.66 in Boots! I generally save my Boots points on my card to spend on Premium Beauty brands so I actually didn’t pay anything extra for this set and used my points instead!
This isn’t the only Clinique bargain I bought in the sales though so keep an eye out for my next post!

I LOVE the Clinique gift sets! And moisture surge is an absolute must have! The Moisture Surge Hydrating Supercharged Concentrate sounds so amazing, I just might have to give it a try!

Oh it’s the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel-Cream. I think lots of people have said it’s a dupe, but I wanted to test it out for myself! 🙂

I eyed this set, however I personally prefer the Moisture Surge Intense so I decided to skip it. I would like to try that Moisture Surge Hydrating Supercharged Conentrate one of these days – looks like a great additional layer. Again, yay for snagging this on a deal!

There’s plenty I’ve tried in the past that I’m not keen on or have used and seen no real improvements in my skin but other products like this and the vitamin C I LOVE! 🙂 Thanks for reading xx
