March Empties!

Wow, half way through April already??  That’s gone rather quick!  I thought I best hurry up and get this post written and published before it’s time for April’s empties!

Facetune 17

Admittedly not the best photo…apologies about that!

This is what I have used up during March:

Clinique Fresh Pressed Vitamin C 7 day kit – I have written a whole blog on this but actually want to point out that the serum does last longer than the 7 days so I didn’t realise how much was still left in this bottle…I think I have a few more days to go!  Check out my post Clinique Fresh Pressed Vitamin C for my thoughts on that.

Would I repurchase?  Yes, definitely.  As shown in my previous post, I won’t be swapping my cleanser at this stage but without a doubt would use the 7 day kit again when I feel my skin needs that boost.

Rodial Dragon’s Blood Hyaluronic Mist – I love this and unless I come across something else similar I am happy to continue to order this….and have just opened my 2nd bottle!  I use this as my moisturising toner following my acid toner in the night part of my routine.  The only reason I don’t during the day is that I use Serozinc for my oily/combination skin type.  This mist smells lovely and leaves my skin feeling very fresh and hydrated.  If using in the morning it does give you that fresh, ‘wake up’ kind of sensation to the skin.

Would I repurchase?  Yes, already on to my second bottle!

Clinique Moisture Surge  – This has to be one of the best moisturisers that I have used.  It is beautifully lightweight, absorbs nicely, not too quickly but also doesn’t leave any film or residue on the skin.  My face feels hydrated and fresh and perfectly prepped for makeup or SPF.

Would I repurchase?  – Yes, already have, this is probably my fourth pot and I can’t see that changing in the near future despite temptations from other skincare brands, this suits me so I do believe in if it isn’t broke…don’t fix it….this doesn’t need fixing!

Mark Hill Anti-Humidity Shine Spray  – I don’t talk much about hair care on my blog but this for me was a stand out product.  I’ve only had the small ‘travel size’ can which I received in a little Christmas gift last year and I don’t use it all of the time.  It smells great and when my hair is a bit fly away if I’ve dried it in a hurry, this spray only needs to be applied lightly and it works to tame my hair without leaving any residue or product build up evident on my hair.

Would I repurchase?  – Yes, it is on my shopping list!

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Cream – I have used this on and off for years and I think I have only ever bought a full size one once because their samples are a decent size and I had a lot from previous Gift with purchase bags.  The main issue for me with my under eye is dryness.  This eye cream is lovely and hydrating but I don’t think for me I was noticing enough of a difference to repurchase the full size again.   I’m not suggesting this isn’t a good eye cream, I just wanted to try something else!

Would I repurchase?  Yes and No…..it’s a lovely eye cream, but for me personally the cost doesn’t match the results that I was looking for.

Clinique Chubby Stick – Rhubarb – I am really loving coral tones at the moment and this chubby stick is a gorgeous shade that works great with my skin tone.  It was again part of a gift with purchase and I didn’t use it for a while after I got it as I was really into pink blush shades.  I was hooked once I started using this!  I use it straight after applying my foundation and contour and under my setting powder.  It’s a great base shade for applying a powder blush over the top aswell.  Beautifully blendable formula which I love!

Would I repurchase?  – Absolutely!  I’ve started my second one, which again was a freebie in another gift with purchase but I would definitely buy this shade or perhaps another shade based on how easy they are to blend!

That’s all for March’s empties!

Nice post! And great product choice! I always tell myself to try out something other than Clinique. But I always come back to this brand. They’re simple and good! xoxo Sarah
