I have been terrible for buying products, especially skin care products, trying it a few times and then either…not liking it so I give up, I get bored of it because it doesn’t really do anything, I have it for so long after opening it I can’t remember whether it’s been open longer than the recommended 12 or 24 months or I get tempted into another product that’s similar and buy that!
My usual skincare as I have mentioned in my 2 previous posts Layering Skin care…my morning routine! and Skincare…My Nighttime routine are things I am pretty good with in terms of using them up and replacing (even if the replacement is bought before the end of the one I’m using….I then move onto the new one straight away). My weakness for buying all sorts of different ones and not necessarily using them until they’re empty is on masks, scrubs, shower gels, body lotions….those kind of products!
All of that said I’m impressed with one product and I’m similarly impressed with myself for continuously using it! Haha! This pot is now empty!
I usually start a product like this and never end up finishing it for one of the reasons / excuses I started this post with!
I absolutely love this mask! I have oily / combination skin and this mask is perfect and also not too expensive! It is £15 and it has lasted me around 4 months using it twice a week.
Refine and revive your skin with our Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask. Inspired by Ayurvedic traditions, this 100% vegan tingling clay mask is infused with bamboo charcoal, green tea leaves and organic tea tree oil. And it’s been formulated without parabens, paraffin, silicone or mineral oil. This invigorating charcoal face mask draws out impurities and refines the appearance of pores for healthy-looking skin with a glow that shows.

After using this mask my skin feels really soft and clean and I love the fact it is free from parabens too.
I apply it with The Body Shop Mask Brush….so much less messy!!!
I follow the mask with serum – either Estee Lauder Clear Difference or Advanced Night Repair plus moisturiser depending on what time of day I have used the mask….whenever I use it, it’s when I can sit back and relax in the bath and leave the mask to work without hearing ‘Muuuuummmmmm!!!!…… I need…..Can I have…..I’m hungry……can I play out….I need a wee!’ Haha!
Would I repurchase? Yes! I already have! This is one of those products I think I’m likely to take the risk and buy the next one before I run out because The Body Shop have offers on all of the time!

Thanks for reading! Yes it is….when I have my acne flare ups around my chin this really helps…doesn’t irritate it at all and helps to calm it down 🙂 x
