Day 14 – a lovely skin and hair product! Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Multi Purpose Dry oil
So far I have only tried it on my hands to see what it is like and it is really nice. It smells gorgeous and when applied to my skin, was absorbed quickly and left no residue at all. All that was left was very soft skin! I can imagine this would be a fab post-shower oil for the whole body. I currently use bio-oil but this sinks into the skin quicker than bio-oil!
It is packed with natural oils and vitamin E to help nourish, repair and soften your face, body and hair. When used on the skin it is said to leave it soft and silky, which I can attest to as my skin felt so soft! I am very tempted to try this on my hair at some point as it claims to leave it supple, soft and shining with health…sounds great doesn’t it? I have also read that it can be added to moisturiser to give your skin that extra moisture boost which could save the need to switch moisturisers in the winter ( I don’t usually need to but I know people who do), or can even be added to your foundation. I have seen plenty of YouTube tutorials where people use drops of oil to blend their foundation and I will admit, I am not sure I would want to do this….I use an oil-free foundation on purpose, that said, this is a dry oil so I am tempted to give it a go, even if just for the sake of having a go!
The cute glass bottle is a 30ml size so again a very decent size product for the advent calendar.
As an update to yesterday’s eye cream that I wasn’t sure about…..
I put this into the fridge last night as eye creams are generally very refreshing when chilled and can help to reduce puffiness around the eyes with the cooling effect.
When I applied it this morning, again I’m not sure about the texture, but when I applied it to my skin (and it is absorbed very quickly), my eye area felt cool and refreshed and I was quite surprised as it felt a lot nicer than when I tried it yesterday. Still not sure if I’m sold on it though in honesty purely based on the initial texture but I found it to be much nicer after it had been kept in the fridge overnight.

I have always wondered about the nuxe oil. I didn’t know it was for hair too. Thanks for the info.

This sounds so nice!! My skin gets so dry in the winter. I’m keeping this oil in my mind. 😊

If your skin goes dry I bet you’ll love this. In my latest blog I’ve mixed it with my foundation….I think that’d work well for drier skin too. Thanks for reading x
